Tutoring Program
Bryson was always an avid learner, and one thing he missed the most during his treatment was the ability to attend school. Inspired by his constant curiosity and love for learning new things, we created our online tutoring program to give oncology patients, survivors, and their siblings an opportunity to explore topics they are interested in.
For cancer patients, survivors, and their siblings:
All lessons take place online, are one on one, and are completely free! Session times can be adjusted to accomodate treatment plans, medical appointements, etc. We offer several academic subjects to help students who have missed schooling due to their treatment. If patients are looking for a fun but productive distraction, we also offer some recreational subjects, such as art and foreign languages.
For all others:
If the student is not a cancer patient, survivor, or sibling, we ask for a donation of $10 per hour. All proceeds are then used towards helping childhood cancer families. These lessons take place online as well and are one on one. Scheduling is flexible to accomodate for school schedules, etc.
Interested in signing up?
Contact us with the student's name, grade, and subjects of interest. If applicable, please let us know preferred lesson times to assist with ease of scheduling. We will reach out to you via email or phone as soon as we can! Fill out the form on our website or email Breanna@bryson12sunshine.org.
