What is the Cancer Moonshot Act?

As part of the 21st Century Cure Act Passing in 2016, the Cancer Moonshot was created. One of its main goals was to encourage collaboration among cancer researchers by creating shared databases, in hopes that it would accelerate the finding of cures.
The Cancer Moonshot includes both adult and childhood cancer research projects and is currently receiving annual funding up until 2023. (1.8 billion dollars distributed across 7 years since 2016)
